Letting God In

God is close, and his miracles are everywhere. He is with each of us on the road we must travel through life. He can work miracles for us every day if we merely recognize his presence and allow him to be part of our lives.
 
Happy Pentecost Sunday!
Whether you are religious or not God is with us!
He has given us many gifts, what are yours? Do you share them with others?
Take some time today and think about your gifts and talents.
Write them down and ask the big Man how you are to use them in your life.
I guarantee He has a plan for you. Let Him in.
We can do this alone. We are meant to have help on this Journey.
 In times of stress, loss, sadness and even joy and success 
hand it over to Him and be thankful!
 
In addition to discovering your gifts and talents take some time
to think of your weaknesses too.
Not just in fitness and diet but in your daily life?
Write those down and find a simple way to work on one at a time.
Snappy with the kids or hubby?
Vow to just be silent. Silence goes a long ways and too often we talk to much!
Something I learned from my Dad and something I will work on
for the rest of my life.
In the fitness world, what is one weakness that you need to work on?
Choose to spend some time on it this week here or at home.
What about eating/drinking? Is there something you can sacrifice for the week
or add that you know you should.
Write it down, share it with someone close to you that will help you stay on track!

Ok Ladies it is Go time. Time to get real.
It is the middle of May. What are your fitness goals. With summer around the corner what it is you want to achieve to be healthier this summer. It is up to YOU. No one else is going to turn down that "one more drink, or dessert or chip" for you.
You have to decide for yourself.
You have to make the decision to be disciplined.
You have to decide to get your workouts in 3-5 times a week.
You have to decide to fill your fridge and pantry with foods that will
help you body not destroy it.
You have to decide to get your 8 hours of sleep.
Surround yourself with positive influence for your life both physical and spiritual.
If you want a better you... decide NOW what you will do to make it happen.
 
1. Hang out with those who will lift you up, not bring you down.
2. Get the crap out of your house and replace it with lean proteins,
veggies, fruits and good fats.
3. Drink much less alcohol and much more water.
4. Get off your butts and move, get here, get outside, get to a gym. Get moving.
5. STOP MAKING EXCUSES... there are always ways to make it work. Travelling, work, kids, business, nights out... all cop outs. You can say NO to bad food and drink, you can pack your lunches, you can move your body.
IT IS UP TO YOU! But just know I am here to help.

Fun/Hell week is May 28th.
Tues-Thur 6am to 630am. $35
This will be no joke training. I will push you to your max,
so do not underestimate the 30 min time frame.
I need at least 4 for each day to have it so let me know.
 
I will also offer online training 3x a week during the month of June.
You will get 3 intense workouts you can do at home for the month of June.
Cost is $50 for the month.

I just love these two quotes. They may sound cocky but I see pride in them!
 Work towards building that strength so that you are able to do more on on your own.
The purpose of my training is to help you get
stronger so that the daily tasks you deal with
(kids, long hours, lifting things etc) become easier! That is the goal,
in addition to feeling awesome about what you accomplish while you are here.
You may not feel that while during but I can bet you do when you leave.
I have been challenging some of you in ways
that you have never been challenged before.
You know who are you. You have impressed me and proved to me
that you are so much stronger and your mind set is ready and not going to give up
no matter how hard it is. This type of traning is not just for your body
but it is for your mind too. I am trying to reassure you that no matter how
 much you may want to stop or give in,
you have to push past that desire to quit,
this is where the mind comes into play.
You can do this. You can do way more than you think you can.
I have seen it in most of you.
Now let's get out there and make it happen.
Don't show up ready to just go through the motions,
show up ready to take it on at full force.
Be an example and motivator to everyone around you.
We all feed off of positivity and motivation.
Come ready, ready to kick some butt.

Week One of Bikini Bootcamp is complete. I cannot stop saying how much I love the energy that comes from this group, the enthusiasm to work hard and push past comfort and the motivation that comes from all of you to push each other to complete the workout WELL and with Perfect Form!
Last week was incredible and everyone showed up and worked their butts off and did amazing.
In addition everyone was incredibly sore which as you all know I love to hear! Why?
Because it means I pushed you to your limits and it means you worked hard enough to feel the burn.
I am incredibly proud of all of you!
Week 2 will be just as awesome. Mark my words!

It was so cool to have everyone back! I know it may not feel like fun all the time but this morning there was a FUN FUN ENERGY in the circle!
Everyone did incredible job and blew up your 20 min drill scores from last year!
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am!

BRING ON BIKINI BOOTCAMP and
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BODY BOOTCAMP WITH TWISTS!
Come ready to work hard, ready to challenge your MIND and your BODY.
You will have to push past those mental plateaus, push past the temptations of bad food that does not fuel your body and learn to say
NO to anything that will stop you from reaching your goals.
So it is time to define those goals during the next three weeks.
I will have a motivational board hung in the garage for you to write your goals on!
What can you do to clean up your eating, get some extra sleep,
 increase your water intake?
In a world full of temptation, eating out, and laziness
what are you going to do to stay focused?
 
1. Plan your meals. ALL OF THEM and pack them if you need to.
2. Find that water bottle that you plan to refill plenty of times to get in your
2-4 liters of water daily.
3. Get your protein powder to take when you are done working out.
4. Plan your dinner dates wisely. Review menus before you go and
make the healthy choices before you get there or avoid eating out if you can.
5. Get 8 hours of sleep at night.
6. Make sure you have the support system around you,
keep the junk out of the house and ask your family members to do the same.
No one needs it.
7. Make your own goal and motivation board.
This is not only fun but you can't help but stay on track when you see it.
8. LOG YOUR EATS and DRINKS DAILY!
 
You have one week to prepare. Get busy.
 
If you have not gotten out for a WED night class you should really join us.
Bring a friend. We do a lot of partner workouts and Wed are not your typical workouts,
they are typically more KATE LIKE!
 
I am so excited to be back outside! The tires are ready to be flipped, the pullups bars have your names on them and the culdesac has missed your knee taps on lunges.
