This is my new favorite ad, not because of the gatorade but because of the message!
His attitude gets everyone fired up. Be that inspiration to someone!
Life is a whirlwind. We all have plans about how WE want it to go.
Last week the boys did not have school, I did not expect or anticipate a day off of school,
if I had known I would have glady stayed in bed, but I didn't.
I got up just like I do every morning, poured my coffee and said my prayers,
then went to the computer and found out no school.
We had an amazing day, everything I had originally planned for the
day was set aside and I just enjoyed my kids. We even did a workout together.
Yes the 5 of us. And they loved it.
Mind you they usually love it but the format we used worked with them so much so,
that my oldest boy was screaming "Woo" at the top of his lungs after every round
and saying "One More Round, you ready boys?" His energy was contagious and it
fired everyone up so much so that they did the extra 5 rounds with me, even the 4 year old.
Positive attitude is contagious. Surround yourself with those who are going to
be positive about you, your family, faith and your goals, those who are going to push you towards
accomplishing them. If you do, there will be NO stopping you from achieving them.
Back to "MY PLANS"
Most of you know I had a slight set back recently. I don't fear the box because of it,
I plan on getting right back on it when I am healed up. I am
training for a competition in November and time and training is precious not to
mention my sanity! So 7-10 days off of the very body part I need to work is a
pretty big set back. I laugh because God always has his ways of Slowing me down.
This is just another one, I guess I am pretty hard to stop, it usually comes in the form
of illness, injury, pregnancy or miscarriage for Him to get the message across to me.
I am not happy about it, I feel a little defeated and foolish because it did happen
and quite honestly... the numbness wore off so it hurts like hell but all of these
things are a reminder to me that perhaps I was doing too much, trying to take too
much on, too much training, too many things to do. A reminder that I need more
days like last Friday to just enjoy the gifts that have been given to me.
The rest will wait.
It will always be there.
So be careful of "YOUR PLAN" because the big man likely has other ones
Next week we talk about FOOD. Are you eating enough for your goals???
