So many thoughts running through my head right now!
Every day most of us set out to have a great day!
We plan to be the best Mom, wife ever.

Then something happens that throws us off,
something that does go the way we planned.

We have options. We can give up, throw in the towel or
choose to not let it stop us.

If you really think about it, this applies to nearly everything in life.

Work, exercise, nutrition, relationships, and Faith.
We are not perfect. We never will be. It does not mean that we stop striving
for it but it does mean that we need to recognize that there is a higher power
that may just be trying to tell us something when things don't go our way.
And until we start to listen He will likely keep at us!

I have learned this throughout my marriage of 13 years and 9 pregnancies.
It has taken me this long to really start to realize that I need to slow down and listen.
I have been thrown for a loop many times in life by the big Guy.
He has funny ways of slowing me down and making me realize what is really important.
They were not funny at the time but as I look back they were opportunities

Take some time this week to look at your life and your relationships.
How are they? What do you prioritize in life? Maybe you need to rearrange a little?
For those of us who have kids... yes we need to meet their needs,
but when was the last time you and your spouse spent some quality time together?
When did you spend time with a good friend who will lift you up?
Better yet when was the last time you went to Church together.
Or really opened up to the big Man and told him your troubles and joys?

He is there for us believe it or not.
Lastly... what are you postponing that cannot be done and started now?

"I am travelling this week so it is so hard to eat well."
"Just this one last day and I will get back on track."
Heck I have used some of them myself.
Start now, decide now and start now.
Get rid of all the crap food in your house, get rid of the "Fat Pants",
get rid of the excuses.
LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO DO SO!
Make a decision to commit to whatever it is you set out to do.
Set a reasonable goal. Show up when you say you will.
Get your family and friends on board with you!

It's not too late to sign up, bring a friend with you!
Couples Challenge for October.
$50 per couple. 3 workouts a week sent to you with nutrition accountability.
Winner is determined by who gives maximum effort in workouts and healthy eating.
Get your spouse or significant other on board with you and do it together.
