Keeping things simple this week.
It is March 2013. Most of us are in the middle of Lent/New Years Resolutions, prepping for Spring Break and thinking about being in a swimsuit. Yikes.........
I need 6 weeks to get ready, 2 weeks, I am training for runs, competitions, just wanting to look good in my suit etc. So what you are you doing to prepare. How many times do you fall off the exercise and eating well wagon? Do you get back on or do you say forget it, I just can't do it... or next week I will start, tomorrow I will start, after Easter I will start...........
Start NOW. It is time to do a self check. Reevaluate your goals, how are they coming along?
What is holding you back? Are they too hard or unrealistic? Too easy?
Your Challenge This WEEK:
Set aside 15 minutes today to review your goals both spiritual and physical.
Write down the setbacks, all of them, could be yourself, people you hang around with,
travel, work, kids......... and then write down the success you have had and how it worked.
Now write up your plan to move forward. Make it Simple.
List 3 ways you are going to move forward with your goals. Simple and concrete.
If it is drinking more water, eating less crap, getting to church, praying daily, having a better relationship with your spouse or children...
Whatever it may be, write down the 3 ways you are going to succeed this week and only 3.
Be concrete and simple. For example.
1. Start every morning with a prayer (name the prayer)
2. Use a 1 liter water bottle to refill 3 times a day and plan meals for the week.
3. Exercise 4 times this week and get to Kate's at least twice.
Put it in a place you see everyday, the bathroom mirror is IDEAL!
 
Let me know how it goes.
 
Spring Break is next week but I still plan on class as long as we have enough participants.
We can even make a few tweeks if we need to, to allow for more classes or change times.
So let me know.
