Pardon the language! I decided to go a lighter route this week!
I know not everyone is trying to loose weight! And even if you are not you are still trying to be healthy. So I ask you, what is the image that you have in store for yourself? Is it realistic? Achievable? I know most will tell you anything is but in a realistic world we have to be realistic. We all have genes, certain body types that no matter how much we try to SPOT train (which does not work anyway) those areas may never be exactly the way we want them. So I ask you this.
What will make you happy? Think about it.
If training and eating well is enough for you then I would say you are on your way! I am very proud of you for accepting yourself and vowing to be healthy! Sadly most of us are never satisfied.
But it is time to deal with reality. Think about the real goals behind healthy living......... not just the superficial things like the way we look.
Why do you want to exercise and eat well?
1. Whether you want to admit it or not God intended us to take care of our bodies through exercise and good eating!
2. It feels good, in a world of "If it feels good do it!" (which I don't agree with) this statement sure seems to miss a lot of people in this area. It is a proven fact that if you exercise and eat healthy you will feel amazing and have amazing energy, your skin will look better, clothes will feel better, you will be less tired, less achey, have less mental and physical issues PERIOD!
3. Keep up with your kids, we all know they require a lot of us no matter the age! Staying healthy allows us to keep up with them!
4. Be an example to our kids and our spouses, friends and relatives! Just like our faith we want people to say.......... "What does she have that I don't? I want that....... I am talking about a healthy way of life and faith............ not the house, fancy shoes, purses, cars...
I am talking about the things in life that really matter.
When we are stripped from all of our material possessions, what do we possess?
A healthy relationship with Christ? Our spouse? Our children? Friends....
All of this goes hand in hand.
If you take care of yourself spiritually, physically, and emotionally
 then you will be happier.
So what really matter to do you? Because YOU SHOULD! Take the time for YOU!
Get healthy, Get Happy! And I am thrilled to help you on your journey!
