Wow... a lot going through my mind this week.
Being a woman in this world is so hard.
We compete with other women,
we compete with the so called warped standard of appearance,
we feel the need to compete with the very sex that just wants to take care of us,
it seems that everything is a competition.
It should not be that way. Where did we loose our self confidence?
Our confidence in surrendering and trusting!
Allowing others to take care of us and knowing it is ok.
Saying screw Hollywood and runway models and being comfortable in our own skin.
Trust me NO guy wants a twig anyway. They want some meat to grab on too.
The biggest thing that bothers me is when women are not themselves.
They try to be someone else depending on who they are around.
Ladies, be yourself... and if people do not accept you for who you truly are...
News Flash, you don't need them.
We all need those who will build us up and support us.
What does that mean?
It does not always mean they are nice to us, to want the best for someone
means tough love sometimes. Not sugar coating things.
Think about it. We all have them.
Who do we have to put on a facade for?
Who can we really be ourselves around?
Pj's, no makeup, good days, bad days... pray with,
talk about things in life that REALLY MATTER.
Put each other in place, remind each other that we need Christ first
 and everything else later...
even when we don't want it.
These are the people that will build us up.
These are the people we need to surround ourselves with.
Those who will challenge us to become better versions of ourselves.
Those we can have coffee with or drinks, workout together,
go to church together, be holy and still have a good time.
Ladies... WE CAN HAVE IT ALL.
We just have to be ourselves. Put first things first, choose friends wisely, and trust in God.
No one ever said the journey would be easy.
The journey of life, weight loss, getting stronger, healthier, wiser etc.
it is hard and we may often find ourselves walking alone.
That is ok. Think of how Christ was alone.
The reality is... there are few true friends out there who really want the best for you.
Find em and hold on tight.
So long story short.
1. Get some Jesus. You can't do it alone period.
You can try but you will fail eventually.
2. Find good friends, a good support system.
3. Forget trying to keep up with the world. Be yourself. Love yourself.
4. Be thankful for all that you have daily!!! Write it down.
5. Eat well and train HARD!
