Pardon the language! I decided to go a lighter route this week!
I know not everyone is trying to loose weight! And even if you are not you are still trying to be healthy. So I ask you, what is the image that you have in store for yourself? Is it realistic? Achievable? I know most will tell you anything is but in a realistic world we have to be realistic. We all have genes, certain body types that no matter how much we try to SPOT train (which does not work anyway) those areas may never be exactly the way we want them. So I ask you this.
What will make you happy? Think about it.
If training and eating well is enough for you then I would say you are on your way! I am very proud of you for accepting yourself and vowing to be healthy! Sadly most of us are never satisfied.
But it is time to deal with reality. Think about the real goals behind healthy living......... not just the superficial things like the way we look.
Why do you want to exercise and eat well?
1. Whether you want to admit it or not God intended us to take care of our bodies through exercise and good eating!
2. It feels good, in a world of "If it feels good do it!" (which I don't agree with) this statement sure seems to miss a lot of people in this area. It is a proven fact that if you exercise and eat healthy you will feel amazing and have amazing energy, your skin will look better, clothes will feel better, you will be less tired, less achey, have less mental and physical issues PERIOD!
3. Keep up with your kids, we all know they require a lot of us no matter the age! Staying healthy allows us to keep up with them!
4. Be an example to our kids and our spouses, friends and relatives! Just like our faith we want people to say.......... "What does she have that I don't? I want that....... I am talking about a healthy way of life and faith............ not the house, fancy shoes, purses, cars...
I am talking about the things in life that really matter.
When we are stripped from all of our material possessions, what do we possess?
A healthy relationship with Christ? Our spouse? Our children? Friends....
All of this goes hand in hand.
If you take care of yourself spiritually, physically, and emotionally
 then you will be happier.
So what really matter to do you? Because YOU SHOULD! Take the time for YOU!
Get healthy, Get Happy! And I am thrilled to help you on your journey!

To fall in love with God is the greatest of all romances; To seek him, the greatest adventure;
To find him, the greatest human achievement.

We are well into NO EXCUSES 2013.
How are things going?
Before we know it Spring will be here and we will all be back outside enjoying the amazing weather and some awesome workouts! So as you are in hibernation mode.... is there anything keeping you from being the Best Version of Yourself? If so what is it? I find that too much screen time keeps me from my goals. Take a hiatus from the computer, TV, invite your kids to do so as well.
Pick up and good book and grab a cup of tea or coffee.
I am reading the book below right now and it is beautiful! Nice to take a reality break and read an uplifting book about being grateful for some of the simplest things in life,
many of which we take for granted.

When was the last time you stepped foot into Church? Too cold? Too early? Did not want to wake the kids? Too tired? I know I have said it before but we cannot get through his life alone. I challenge all of you to bring something to church this week. Start simple. Grab a little notebook and write in it,
"God, what are you asking of me this week." Then listen during church, I promise the question will be answered. Make that your goal of the week and write down your successes! I am truly not crazy.
God, Exercise, healthy eating, positive relationships will bring out awesomeness in your life,
it does not come without challenges but you will be able to embrace them much better with all of these things intact. We don't need too many material possessions to be truly happy in this world not matter what we may think. Try going without and I get you will feel free of the pressures of those items. Simplify. Recognize what is truly needed in life and you will see it is quite simple.
You CAN have it all. You just have to be willing to surrender!

Have an amazing week! Make it amazing everyday!
